Description
9" (23 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead, sculpted light brown hair drawn from face with widow's peak at the crown, braids at the side and modeled snood at back of head, painted blue eyes, single stroke brows, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque lower arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: rare small size of the model with wonderfully sculpted hair, antique costume of Welsh peddler and with basket of wares, household goods, dolls and novelties.
