Pressed bisque socket head with pear-shaped modeling, very full cheeks, large blue glass paperweight inset eyes with dark iris rims, dark eyeliner encircles the eye sockets, painted short dark lashes, mauve-blushed eye shadow, brushstroked and multi-feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils of pointy nose, closed mouth with shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists and flat-cut derriere. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4 SCH (in shield, on head and on derriere). Comments: Schmitt et Fils, circa 1884. Value Points: gorgeous bebe with superb quality of bisque and modeling, original body and body finish, wearing choice antique costume comprising of embroidered fine white cotton dress, undergarments, stockings, white shoes and lace bonnet.
