Description
Of pencil-striped grey and taupe silk, the gown features a fitted bodice and box-pleated full skirt and is trimmed with pleated aqua silk streamers and edging, self-covered buttons, hook and eye closure. Along with fine white cotton blouse with narrow tucks and lace neck edging. Very good condition. For 17" poupee of 1860 era. French, circa 1860, although unsigned the gown is attributed to Adelaide Huret.
