Porcelain shoulderhead, black sculpted hair with arranged scalloped curls around the forehead that are framed by a coronet of braids at the crown and around the sides, painted facial features, pale blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, muslin stitch-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1880. Value Points: elaborate detail of sculpted curls and braided coronet.
