Description
20" (51 cm.) Bisque socket head, small brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, short brushstroked brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with pert slight smile, accent line between the lips, impressed dimples in center cheeks, chin and philtrum, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K&H (in banner) 549 8 1/2 Germany. Comments: Bahr and Proschild for Kley and Hahn, circa 1912. Value Points: the seldom found model has exceptional detail of impressed dimples, fine quality of bisque and painting.
