Description
8" (20 cm.) All-bisque with one-piece bisque head and torso, sculpted boyish hair with side-swept curls at forehead, painted brown side-glancing eyes, single stroke short brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with shy smiling lips, loop-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted white socks and brown shoes with bow straps. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 10577.3. Comments: Germany, Gebruder Heubach, circa 1915. Value Points: most charming expression accentuated by tucked-down head posing, starfish-shaped fingers, wonderful antique costume.
