Description
13" (33 cm.) Pink tinted bisque shoulderhead, light brown sculpted hair with short curls captured by glazed blue hair ribbon and bow, painted facial features, blue intaglio side-glancing eyes with large black pupils, accented nostrils, closed mouth with smiling expression, row of tiny beaded teeth, muslin body, composition lower arms and legs, well costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (square) 7850 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912, the model known as "Coquette". Value Points: very expressive features enhanced by dimpled sculpting, modeled hair.
