Bisque socket head, dark blue glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined shaded lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, antique cream cashmere flannel dress with embroidered details, lace and silk frou-frou bonnet, undergarments, socks, leather shoes with silk rosettes. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish. Comments: Jumeau/SFBJ, circa 1899, the closed mouth bebe was created with commissioned bisque heads from Simon and Halbig presented on original French bodies. Value Points: beautiful example of the doll with very deep modeling, deep paperweight eyes, closed mouth and fine bisque.
