9" (23 cm.) The firm-bodied chaise a porteur has applique metal sides and door with lacquered painted finish and painted designs of cherubic play and garlands of flowers, with three beveled edge windows, hinged door, velvet covered roof and back, and green silk interior. Excellent condition. Original paper label on underside "Procede Brevete SGDG Modele Depose". French, circa 1885.
