Description
9" (23 cm.) Bisque socket head with flattened solid dome, brown spiral-threaded glass eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, early composition and wooden fully jointed body with straight wrists, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 204. Comments: Bahr and Proschild, circa 1890. Value Points: an especially pretty closed mouth child, in the French manner, with gentle brown eyes, original early body and body finish.
