Description
13" (33 cm.) Bisque socket head, small blue glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body with side-hip jointing, antique costume and shoes, carrying little brown teddy bear. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1488 Simon & Halbig 4. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1912. Value Points: appealing pensive character with choice bisque, rarely found in this small size, original body and body finish.
