Of densely woven linen, the gown features a deep scalloped neckline, fitted bodice, flared sleevelets, set-in waist band and a wide box-pleated skirt; the gown is ornamented with rich soutache embroidery, button and loop closure. Excellent condition. French, for 15" poupee, circa 1865.
