12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head, very plump cheeks, small blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with row of tiny painted teeth between the outlined lips, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists, lovely antique (frail) silk dress, undergarments, shoes, stockings, bonnet. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish. Marks: 7. Comments: Kestner, circa 1880. Value Points: fine modeling and painting especially of mouth and tiny painted teeth, fine body.
