Description
6 1/2" (17 cm.) All-bisque head and torso, tiny blue glass eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with modeled space between the shaded and outlined lips, blonde mohair braided wig, loop-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted above-the-knee white ribbed stockings, black one-strap shoes, lovely costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: JIO c. 1920 47 (incised). Comments: designed by American artist Jeanne Orsini, circa 1920, made in Germany. Value Points: rare little all-bisque especially well-achieved modeling and painting.
