Bisque socket head, deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows with feathered detail, rose blushed eye shadow, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with heart-shaped upper lip, shaded and outlined lips, dimpled chin and philtrum, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, antique ensemble comprising purple woolen dress with embroidered detail, matching fancy bonnet, undergarments, stockings, French leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent, body repainted. Marks: 6 F.G. (inside scroll). Comments: Gaultier Freres, circa 1888. Value Points: large luminous eyes lend a dramatic expression to the bebe.
