12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with wistful expression, impressed chin dimple, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2033 BSW (in heart) 537. Comments: Bruno Schmidt, their model known by collectors as "Wendy", circa 1912. Value Points: the captivating petite doll has very beautiful wistful expression enhanced by flawless bisque, original body and body finish, and wearing wonderful antique folklore costume.
