Description
17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted pale blue eyes with darker iris rims in well-defined eye sockets, black and red upper eyeliner, slightly-feathered curvy brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the very full outlined lips, impressed cheek dimples, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Comments: Hertel & Schwab, circa 1915, from the firm's art character series, the model was offered with glass eyes or this rarer variation of painted eyes. Value Points: rarely found model, with especially fine detail of modeling around the eyes and lips, impressed cheek dimples, choice bisque, original body and body finish.
