Paper mache shoulderhead with elongated face and strong throat, sculpted brown hair drawn behind the ears and captured in a gold painted snood at the back with decorative blue bow at the side, and with feathering details around the face and a sculpted bonnet decorated with large bows and plumes, painted facial features, blue upper-glancing eyes, black upper eyeliner, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth, blushed cheeks, original muslin body, wooden lower limbs with painted black boots. Condition: very good/excellent, original finish with few slight rubs. Comments: Germany, circa 1875.
