11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head, deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, very rich rose blushed eye shadow, dark painted lashes, brunette painted brows with decorative glaze, accented eye corners and nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, row of porcelain teeth, brunette mohair wig, French composition fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Juillien 1 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Juillien, circa 1895, on Jumeau body. Value Points: wonderfully expressive wide eyes enhanced by dramatic painting of features.
