19th Century Mahogany Etagere Filled with Superb Miniature Objects

13" (33 cm.) h. etagere. A mahogany three-tiered etagere with tripod base displays a fine collection of miniatures including: a pair of double-handled porcelain urns, pair of porcelain candlesticks, softpaste lidded jar in the shape of a woman's head, porcelain figure of little boy seated on chamber pot (his head removes for use as cologne bottle), carved bone footed compote, and a superb carved bone bust of black man with elaborately-detailed costume and removable hat. Excellent condition. A wonderful display of fine miniature pieces, 1850 era except lidded urns which are 1945 era.
