Description
18" (46 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead, sculpted light brown hair in short tousled curls overall the crown of head, forming bangs, and arranged above the modeled pierced ears, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted all-around lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque hands. Condition: generally excellent, little flakes on thumb tips, some body wear. Marks: S 1 H. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1875. Value Points: rarely found signed model with most beguiling expression, rare brown hair and glass eyes, lovely costume.
