19" (48 cm.) Paper mache shoulderhead, short black sculpted hair with deeply-sculpted windblown curls, painted blue eyes, black upper eyeliner, painted upper lashes, single stroke brows, sculpted ears, closed mouth, muslin stitch-jointed body, leather arms. Condition: very good, some early possible retouch. Comments: Germany, circa 1875. Value Points: wearing antique gentleman's costume including fitted coat, silk patterned vest and top hat.
