Description
11" (28 cm.) Paper mache shoulderhead, elongated strong throat, black sculpted hair in center part with four long ringlet curls in front of each ear and then hair drawn back into a braid-edged chignon, painted brown eyes, black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, cloth body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1860. Value Points: rare coiffure and rare brown eyes, wearing lovely antique gown and double-tiered lace collar, undergarments.
