18" (46 cm.) Pressed bisque socket head with rounded facial shape and full cheeks, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, fringed brows with delicate feathering, mauve blushed eye shadow, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth, outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, Steiner composition fully-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Sie C 2 (incised) Bourgoin SGDG Paris (small lettered markings at back rim). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1882. Value Points: rare model has very beautiful complexion with subtle blushing, endearing expression with hint of smile, original body and body finish.
