Description
20" (51 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, lushly-painted lashes, dark rose painted eye shadow, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F.G. (in scroll). Comments: Gaultier Freres, circa 1886. Value Points: beautiful eyes are further enhanced by dramatic painting of lashes, brows and eye shadow, lovely bisque, original body and body finish.
