Description
4" (10 cm.) Each is all-bisque depicting a chubby naked baby in amusing variations of pose, each with sculpted hair with side-coiled braids, sculpted green hair bow at the crown, painted facial features, large side-glancing googly eyes, tiny impish smile, sculpted blue wings in heart-shape design. Condition: generally excellent, one has chips on three fingers. Comments: Germany, circa 1915, attributed to Hertel and Schwab, the figures were inspired by the popular Kewpie and incorporated many of the Kewpie features and designs. Value Points: included is little girl crawling out of egg shell which has open top for use as candy container and two googlies with attached bases.
