Paper mache shoulderhead, blue glass inset eyes, painted features, closed mouth with hinged jaw which opens and closes when bellows mechanism in torso is pushed, muslin body, paper mache lower arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1880. Value Points: fine original complexion and painting, rare mouth construction.
