Description
14" (36 cm.) Paper mache shoulderhead, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig, cloth torso and legs, stitch-jointed hips, composition and wooden ball-jointed arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schilling (in garland, stamp on torso). Comments: Germany, Schilling, circa 1880. Value Points: in flawlessly preserved condition, with original rare stamped body, the doll has original socks and leather shoes, original chemise.
