Description
13" (33 cm.) Firmly shaped head with shaded dark brown mohair cover, excelsior filled body and jointed limbs, cut-out eye sockets and open mouth, painted teeth, inset "movable" eyes and tongue, brown felt paw pads. Condition: excellent. Comments: Gebruder Sussenguth, circa 1924, the bear was produced in four sizes (this being the smallest) for a few years only; described as having "lateral movement of eyes and tongue, brought about by gravity". Value Points: rare teddy in wonderfully-preserved condition, with amusing movements.
