21" (53 cm.) Rare shade of auburn hair is drawn back into captured rolls at the sides, with curls tumbling onto her shoulders, straight bangs, hand-painted facial features. Wearing original evening gown, tulle yoke embroidered at the throat with a "necklace" of coral silk beads and rhinestones, above a heavy-lace fitted bodice accented with tiny rhinestones, double layer tulle skirt above a coral satin skirt, matching heavy lace evening bag, panties, stockings, pale pink front-snap shoes, two clusters of silk flowers in her hair, pearl drop earrings. Excellent condition, some light shelf dust on skirt. Alexander, 1951, the doll is sometimes referred to as "Kathryn Grayson". A gorgeous doll with rare hair color, exquisite gown, beautifully-painted complexion and facial features.
