Description
9" (23 cm.) overall. 3 1/2" to waist. Waist-up porcelain lady with brown sculpted hair captured under a fitted blue coiffe with decorative comb and flowing streamers, slightly smiling expression, sculpted costume including fingerless elbow-length gloves, arms bent at elbows and held away from body modestly in front of bodice, a rose in her right hand, attached to original (sealed) archive with overskirt and embroidered apron. Generally excellent, flower once in left hand is broken off. Germany, circa 1915, rare style of coiffe and gloves.
