Description
9" (23 cm.) The full-body porcelain figure of white porcelain decorated with cobalt blue depicts a woman in mid-1800s style costume who is holding her beloved dog, her face and hands with complexion tinting and with gold buttons on the gown. Her head serves as a handle to the upper half of the body which is a lid to the trinket jar. Marked England (and illegible name). Excellent condition. English, circa 1885.
