Description
7" (18 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with plump facial modeling, large brown glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with defined space between the lips, brunette mohair wig, early composition body with jointing at shoulders, hips and knees, painted shoes and socks. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SH 0 908. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1885. Value Points: rare early model especially in this tiny size, with very beautiful features and bisque, fine antique costume.
