28" (71 cm.) Pink tinted bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, delicately brushstroked brows, closed mouth with pouting expression and outlined lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 7246 12 Heubach (sunburst mark) Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: the very rare large size character has finest quality of bisque and painting and wears choice antique costume comprising rare sharkskin double-breasted coat, jacket, pants, striped stockings and leather boots. Ex-collection Legoland Museum of Antique Dolls.
