12" (30 cm.) Porcelain swivel head with plump rounded facial shape and pink-tinted complexion, flat-cut neck rim to accommodate to original swivel arrangement on matching shoulderplate, painted bright blue upper-glancing eyes, thick black upper eyeliner, painted lashes and lightly-feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, unpierced ears, pale blonde lambswool wig, softly-stuffed kid body with gusset jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (Rohmer stamp on torso). Comments: Leontine Rohmer, circa 1860. Value Points: charming petite size, with beautiful painting, notably the eyes, rare Rohmer depose neck articulation, original body with maker's stamp, nice antique costume.
