4 1/2" (11 cm.) Each is all-bisque with sculpted topknot and forelock, blue wings, painted side-glancing eyes, impish smile, loop-jointed arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Kewpie, designed by Rose O’Neill, Germany, circa 1915. Value Points: the pair wear their original bride and groom ensembles, he in black crepe paper costume with top hat and boutonniere, and she in crepe chiffon dress with wax flower bouquet.
