All-carved wood with socket head, deeply carved hair in short bobbed boyish fashion with overlapping curls at forehead, intaglio carved upper-glancing blue eyes with pronounced black pupils in well-defined sockets, painted brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with wide lips, all-wooden spring-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, some body play rubs. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan.17,'11 USA & Foreign Countries (impressed). Comments: Schoenhut, model 205, circa 1912. Value Points: very fine detail of carving on hair and features of handsome young lad, antique costume which may be original.
