Description
21" (53 cm.) x 28". The drawing features a 1920s era young girl with brown bobbed hair and stylized facial painting of the flapper era, with painted lingerie, and with four additional paper doll drawn costumes. The doll is labeled Virginia Getty and each of the costumes is identified for purpose. At the bottom is the signature "G.G. Drayton c.". The sketch is mounted on firm paper backing and is in excellent condition excepting fraying around the hidden edges. A rare find by the noted American illustrator Grace Drayton, c. 1920.
