Description
15" (38 cm.) (not including hat). Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, blonde lambswool wig and applied short beard, kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1867, the doll is wearing red and black regimental parade uniform and has wonderful antique parade helmet with ink lettered label inside hat of General of Hussar regiment of 1808.
