Description
39" (99 cm.) h. x 38"d. x 29"w. The grand dollhouse, with two stories plus attic rooms, is arranged upon a detachable floor platform. The house was designed that several children could have access play at the same time. The house front has curved fancy full-width porches at each level, and a dormer window with wide window box at the attic; steps lead to the lower porch and there are double front doors at each level, and windows with original painted glass panes. The interior is an intriguing arrangement with side entry having mail box, one side with two large open rooms, and the other side with an elaborate staircase with fancy landings. The roof line is multi-angled. Very good, professional restoration to exterior and interior. Germany, Moritz Gottschalk, circa 1922, the rare revolving house appeared in the 1922 Gottschalk catalog; a copy of the catalog reprint is included with the house.
