All wooden carved doll, socket head, intaglio painted brown eyes with pronounced large black pupils, white eye dots, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with wistful expression, blonde mohair bobbed wig, wooden spring-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan. 17th 1911 USA. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1912, model 301. Value Points: well-sculpted details and fine original finish on the wistful-faced child.
