Description
33" (84 cm.) h. x 27"w. x 15"d. The wooden dollhouse features two interior floors which access from hinged front wall, as well as two attic rooms; the house is constructed in three stackable separate levels and the attic top floor has a beautiful angled mansard roof with a double window flanked by two single windows, and two chimneys. The house exterior has a front door below a second floor curved-front balcony with its own doorway, and there are double windows at each side of doorway. A stairwell centers the four lower rooms, and there are hinged doors between each room. Wall and floor papers appear original as do the curtains, the ceilings on upper floors are especially fine, and the kitchen has original built-in furnishings. The underside is stamped "Z 738/6 M H188/68". Excellent condition. Germany, Christian Hacker, circa 1880.
