18" (46 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead with very plump rounded face, brown sculpted short hair with very full bangs captured under a fitted red cap with black ribbon ties and bow at back of head, painted blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single stroke brown brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, kid body with gusset jointing, bisque lower arms, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, body has some minor kid patching. Comments: Germany, circa 1875, attributed to Alt, Beck and Gottschalk. Value Points: rarity factors include brown hair, unusual red cap with decorative bows.
