14" (36 cm.) Porcelain swivel head with flat-cut neck socket on original shoulderplate, painted blue eyes with all-around eyeliner, painted upper lashes, arched feathered brows, closed mouth, unpierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, softly-stuffed kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, porcelain arms to above the elbows, cupped hands. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Mme Rohmer Brevete SGDG Paris (body). Comments: Leontine Rohmer, circa 1860. Value Points: rare early poupee with beautifully-painted features, original signed body with porcelain limbs, beautiful antique three-piece ensemble, undergarments, socks, shoes, leather purse with belt.
