Description
14" (36 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulderhead, painted black hair with sculpted curl details around the forehead accented by feathering, deeply inset painted blue eyes with thick black eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accented center line, sturdy and original leather poupee body with gusset jointing, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1860. Value Points: rare painted hair poupee with unusual painting of facial features.
