Description
23" (57 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted facial features, shaded blue eyes with decorative glaze, thick black upper eyeliner, incised eyeliner, tapered one-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, shaded lips, brunette fleeced hair, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique boy's costume including blue velvet coat, britches, argyle socks, leather shoes and cap. Condition: generally excellent, few typical wig pulls. Marks: K*R 114 57. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1909. Value Points: wonderful large size allowing full expression of the pouty features, very full lips and impressed fret lines, choice bisque, original body and body finish, wonderful costume.
