12" (30 cm.) All-cloth doll with pressed and oil painted facial features, blonde impasto hair with curly locks around the forehead, shaded blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, painted curly upper lashes, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, stitched-on ears, sateen body, oil-painted lower limbs with stitch-jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Chase Stockinet Doll (and illustration of doll head stamp on torso). Comments: Martha Chase, circa 1900. Value Points: fine original painting with especially lovely painting of eyes.
