Description
13" (33 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulderhead with sculpted short black hair, painted facial features, cobalt blue eyes with black eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips, kid hand-stitched slender body. Condition: generally excellent, retouch to hair at back of head. Comments: attributed to Gaultier, circa 1865. Value Points: early painted-eye poupee model has original body and wears wonderful silk and brocade gentleman's suit, leather boots, silk top hat.
