Description
11" (28 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead with delicately tinted complexion, brown sculpted hair waved loosely away from face into large rolled curls at back of head and topped by a glazed black hair bow, painted blue eyes with dark outline, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque lower arms and legs, painted ankle boots with black tips, antique muslin gown with soutache embroidery, undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1870. Value Points: rarity factors on the beautiful early model include brown hair, sculpted hair bow, unusual boots and lovely early costume.
