Rose-tinted poured wax shoulderhead, delicate brunette attached hair in soft ringlet curls, tiny blue glass inset eyes, tinted details of brows and lips, softly-stuffed muslin body, wax lower limbs, painted black ankle boots with red lacing. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: English, circa 1865. Value Points: the doll is wearing original turquoise silk gown with black velvet trim, undergarments, and bonnet with unusual decorations. $900/1100
